[ARCHIVED] UPDATE: Twin Falls PD Responds to Shooting

UPDATE:  On Monday, August 31, 2020, at approximately 4:00 a.m., Miguel Antonio Alarcon, age 23, from Jerome, ID, was taken into custody without incident at a local motel.  An arrest warrant for 1st Degree Murder had been issued for Mr. Alarcon related to the shooting that occurred on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 11:35 p.m., in the alley near the 300 block of Washington Street North. 

Twin Falls Police Department investigators worked closely with the Twin Falls County Prosecutor’s Office and deputies from the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office during the arrest of Mr. Alarcon.

The identity of the decedent, Miguel Eszuval, age 24, from Jerome, ID, was released by the Twin Falls County Coroner’s Office, after notification was made to his family.
