The City of Twin Falls will close Washington Street South between Southwood Avenue and South Hills Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1. The closure will allow work crews to safely bore holes for new utilities to serve residential development in south Twin Falls.
During the utility installation both lanes on Washington Street South will be closed between Southwood Avenue and South Hill Road. Detours will be in place to direct traffic around the road closure. Drivers should use South Hills Road to access detours on Grandview Drive South, Blue Lakes Boulevard, and Harrison Street South. Signs will be posted to direct traffic.
