[ARCHIVED] Addison Avenue Lane Closures on July 22 for Waterline Replacement

Slow Down Sign

Drivers should expect lane closures on Addison Avenue between Locust Street and Elm Street beginning at 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 22. The project is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. the same day.

City crews will be exposing and replacing a deteriorated waterline under the roadway, and will fill and repave the waterline trench when completed.

During the waterline replacement, the westbound outside lane, eastbound inside lane, and the median will be closed. Business access will be maintained for the duration of the project. Signs will be posted to direct traffic through the project area, but drivers are reminded to slow down, follow all posted traffic controls, and yield to workers and equipment.
