Contractors will be working on fiber optic line upgrades at Blue Lakes Boulevard South between 9th Avenue East and 10th Avenue East from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 26.
The Contractor, The Connection Fiber Optic Company, will be working on overhead fiber optic lines. However, there will be a signal closure and Traffic Control Flaggers will be directing traffic on Blue Lakes Blvd. Contractors will also close 9th Avenue East where it intersects with Blue Lakes Boulevard.
The work is scheduled to be completed within about five hours. However, drivers are encouraged to avoid the Blue Lakes Boulevard intersection – if possible. Questions about the project should be directed to The Connection Fiber Optic Company at 208-280-2789.
