[ARCHIVED] City of Twin Falls Narrows CFO Applicant Pool

The City of Twin Falls has narrowed the search for its Chief Financial Officer to three applicants.

After advertising the position in November 2019, the City of Twin Falls received 30 applications from 10 states including; Idaho, Utah, California, Nevada, Washington, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Vermont. A team comprised of city staff and the vice-mayor conducted Skype interviews in early February with the candidates, and subsequently narrowed the candidate pool to three finalists.

Randy Bates, Breanna Howard, and Darcie Upton will participate in onsite interviews in late-February with a selection team comprised of staff and council.

The City CFO is an executive level position and both Idaho Code and City Code define the process required to confirm the appointment. Lorie Race, who has served the City of Twin Falls for 31 years, including 10 years as the Chief Financial Officer, will retire in May.
