The City of Twin Falls will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newest section of the Canyon Rim Trail, which will connect 7.5 continuous miles of trail along the Snake River Canyon from Shoshone Falls Park to Canyon Rim Road in west Twin Falls.
The community is invited to join city officials, MaVTEC, and other community partners who helped make the trail possible, will cut the ribbon on the new section of trail at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29. Those wanting to be in attendance are encouraged to park at the Canyon Crest Dining and Event Center located at 330 Canyon Crest Drive.
Visitors can walk from the Canyon Crest parking area to the new trail section, which is located along the scenic Snake River Canyon between the Breckenridge Subdivision and Harrison Street.
There will be brief comments about the trail partnership, and a ribbon cutting will be hosted by the Twin Falls Area Chamber Ambassadors.
