The City of Twin Falls Diversity and Inclusion Committee is seeking interested candidates to apply for one open seat on the Committee’s board. The Committee meets the first Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m. at Twin Falls City Hall located at 203 Main Avenue East.
Individuals who are interested in serving on the committee should live, work, volunteer, worship, or be enrolled in school within the Twin Falls city limits. Committee members advise the Twin Falls City Manager on issues related to diversity and inclusion. The committee consists of no less than five, and no more than nine, volunteers who reflect the diversity of Twin Falls and represent a broad spectrum of the community.
Committee members are selected by the Twin Falls City Manager to help further the goals of the city’s Strategic Plan, and they work to improve access to local government for all residents including: Latinos, Refugees, Immigrants, African Americans, Senior Citizens, Physically and Mentally Disabled, LGBTQ+, and the many religious faiths in the community.
