City Council Election Information
The Twin Falls City Council consists of seven seats that are open to all city residents on a rotational basis. This page provides the necessary forms and documents required by all candidates to run for office within Twin Falls City Government. Declaration of Candidacy and Petition for Candidacy
All candidates are required to file for candidacy with the Twin Falls City Clerk. The necessary form is available here.
Appointment, Certification of Political Treasurer
Campaigns are required to assign a treasurer to manage incoming campaign funds on behalf of the candidate and must file with the Twin Falls City Clerk.
Declaration of Intent for Write-in Candidates
To be considered as a viable write-in candidate, this form must be completed and returned to the Twin Falls City Clerk no later than 5 p.m. October 8.

Candidate Withdrawal Forms
To withdraw candidacy for office, this form must be completed, signed, and submitted to the Twin Falls City Clerk prior to election day.

Council Candidate Requirements
Candidates for mayor and council may put their names on the ballot by filing a Declaration of Candidacy indicating the office for which they are running, the term of the office, and confirming that they are qualified to hold the office, meaning they are:
