Community Goals and Objectives

Through an extensive community conversation and planning process that began in 2015, the Twin Falls City Council, Citizens, Stakeholders, and the City of Twin Falls Staff have implemented a Strategic Plan that defines the goals and objectives of the community. Our mission is to establish policies that ensure the successful completion of goals and objectives that are stated in the City of Twin Falls Strategic Plan:

City Council Meetings

Responsibilities

All functions of city government fall within the purview of the City Council. The Council enacts laws and ordinances, establishes policies and levels of service, adopts the budget, sets the tax rate and establishes fees for services.

The mayor is elected by the City Council, presides at all council meetings and is the official representative of the city.

  • Public hearings at 6 p.m.
  • Mondays, except for holidays
