    OUR MISSION:

TO PROVIDE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, PROFESSIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT, AND
EFFECTIVE CRIME PREVENTION FOR A SAFE COMMUNITY.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about our Police Department. I hope that you will enjoy learning about our organization and some of the programs which are available for our community.

As our Mission Statement indicates, our organization is dedicated to service, professionalism and prevention. Our Mission is factored into every major Departmental decision. In addition, we pride ourselves that all of our employees are held to the highest standards of integrity, resourcefulness and productivity.

The issues that will face society, and especially our remarkable community, cannot be solved by the police alone. Overcoming challenges such as increases in property crime and vehicle traffic, and the mounting problem of street level narcotics and gang activity will require a united front from the schools, churches, business community, service clubs, government and from each individual citizen.

It is our goal to provide the best service possible to our community’s citizens and visitors. With that goal in mind, we welcome your input and assistance. To comment or to ask questions, please feel free to contact any of our ninety plus employees at any time. Within these pages you will find a number of programs you can become a part of if you wish.
