The Patrol Division of the Twin Falls Police Department is responsible for providing the citizens of the City of Twin Falls with the highest level of professional police service and protection.  The Patrol Division stands on the "frontline" of most police requests for service andprovides the majority of the public safety and peacekeeping needs to the City of Twin Falls.  Captain Brian Pike leads the Patrol Division.

The Officers assigned to the Patrol Division are dedicated towards working in partnership with the members of our community in anticipating and preventing problems and to improving the quality of life for our City's residents and visitors. The Patrol Division consists of two Patrol Platoons and the Strategic Traffic Accident Reduction (STAR) Team.  Each team is led by a Staff Sergeant and consists of four to nine Police Officers. The Patrol Division also provides several proactive and specialized police services which include the Canine Team, Bicycle Patrol, and the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team. Many ofour Officers serve our community in multiple roles.

During 2008, our officers and employees responded to 48,714 calls for service, performed 11,298 traffic stops, issued 5,478 uniform citations, investigated 1,692 traffic collisions and filed 7,568 incident reports.
