All TFPD Officers start as a police officer in the Patrol Division. The Patrol Division is the primary provider of police services to our community and is considered to be the backbone of our Department. While many Officers choose to remain in patrol for many years, others seek promotions or transfers to specialized units after only a few years in the field.
