Baxter's Park

The Magic Valley Canine Social Club and the City of Twin Falls have joined together to develop the community first dedicated dog park, which is located at the northeast corner of Blake Street North and Shoup Avenue West.

Fund raising efforts made this dream a reality for the community’s dog lovers. Donations are still being accepted through the Twin Falls Community Foundation and donors can receive a tax credit.

The Twin Falls Parks Department converted the empty field into a dog park by leveling the site, installing irrigation and landscaping, constructing a parking lot, and installing restroom facilities. Fencing was installed by volunteers led by County Commissioner Leon Mills.

The grand opening of the park will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday Aug. 23 at Baxter's Park. You can download the announcements here and here. Citizens and their furry friends are invited to attend. The more, the merrier!
