A special congratulations is in order to Fire Fighter Gerry Dillman for passing his Fire Fighter Level One test. Two months ahead of schedule we might add. The test consists of a 100 question written exam, that must be passed with an 80% or higher, and a practical test consisting of 5 to 10 exercises chosen by the Training officer from a pool of over fifty. Fire Fighter Dillman passed both parts of the test with flying colors.

There's not a much more to report for the month of November from the Fire Department. We were busy with the usual tasks of helping the citizens of our great city in their time of need, doing what maintenance we can on the trucks and sending the rest to the city shop, who always do a good job and keep us on the road, and of course educating the public on fire safety through business inspections and station tours. You might see us out and about this month and the next testing fire hydrants through out the city and servicing fire extinguishers in City owned buildings and vehicles. So if you see us out and about give us a wave and shake Fire Fighter Dillman's hand to congratulate him on a job well done.
