The Economic Development Department is charged with the responsibility of attracting new private investment to the Twin Falls area.
Department Description:
The Department works closely with a number of groups and organizations, including the Twin Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, College of Southern Idaho, Southern Idaho Economic Development Organization, Region IV Development Association, the Old Town Corporation, Idaho Department of Commerce and others from both the public and private sectors to encourage and promote job opportunities for residents of the Magic Valley.
The Department Director serves as the Executive Director of the Urban Renewal Agency and the Industrial Development Corporation of the City of Twin Falls, as well as the Director of the Building Department.
The City of Twin Falls offers a number of programs to assist business locate or expand. All inquiries remain confidential.
