The Parks and Recreation Department would like to wish everyone a
fun and safe holiday. 

After Sunday, October 4th, Shoshone Falls/Direkes Lake will not be charging an admission fee. Park hours are still 7 a.m. -9 p.m. daily.

Restrooms closed for the season on
Wednesday, October 28th.

ALCOHOL BAN
No alcoholic beverages are allowed at Dierkes Lake Park or the Shoshone Falls boat dock area. Thank you for your cooperation.


Department Description:
The goal of the Twin Falls Parks and Recreation Department is to provide diverse recreational opportunities that are easily accessible to potential users.
  • The Parks Department manages over 1300 acres for the enjoyment of our citizens and visitors.
  • The Shoshone Falls and Dierkes Lake attracts over 300,000 visitors each year.
  • The YMCA/Twin Falls Municipal Pool provides services for 60,000 users a year.
  • Over 7,000 youth and adults participate in our recreational sports programs each year.

'Movies in the Park'

 

Thank you to all the support for Twin Falls first ever "Movies in the Park" series.  This year has been so successful that the Twin Falls Parks and Recreation Office has slated the series for next year.  The first movie of 2010 will be on May 28th. Hope to see you all there.
