Historic Preservation Commission Seeks Volunteer for Open Seat

The City of Twin Falls is seeking a candidate for one open seat on the Historic Preservation Commission, which promotes the educational, cultural, and economic benefits of preserving the history and heritage of Twin Falls.

The commission plays a critical role in the identification, evaluation, designation and protection of buildings, sites and structures that reflect the city’s heritage. Commissioners serve on a volunteer basis and meet the third Monday of each month at 12 p.m. for approximately one hour.

Candidates can apply online or submit a letter of interest with qualifications and contact information to kweeks@tfid.org or mail to: Historic Preservation Commission, P.O. Box 1907, Twin Falls, Idaho by Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017.
