Access Reopened to Shoshone Falls Park; Drivers Still Encouraged to Use Caution

The City of Twin Falls has reopened the entry gate on Shoshone Falls Drive after closing it due to significant ice accumulation and hazardous road conditions.

Drivers are asked to reduce their speed and use caution on the roadway, as city street crews are applying a de-icing agent to help mitigate further accumulation.

The city has closed the entry gate on Shoshone Falls Drive periodically this winter due to hazardous road conditions for both drivers and pedestrians.

The public is reminded to not walk or drive beyond the entry gate when it is closed. The city closes the entry gate when weather or other conditions pose a risk to visitors' safety.

The City of Twin Falls also provides live-video of Shoshone Falls that can be viewed here.
